LAHORE: Dry weather with partly cloudy weather was observed in the city here Wednesday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a shallow westerly wave is still affecting Gilgit-Baltistan and its adjoining areas. Continental air is prevailing over most plain parts of the country. They predicted that mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country; however, light rain (light snow over the hills) is expected at few places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
No rainfall was recorded at any city across the country. Wednesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Parachinar where mercury dropped down to -06°C while in Lahore, maximum temperature was 19°C, minimum was 7.2°C and humidity level was 42 percent.
