Guinness record holder Farhan seeks govt support

LAHORE: Four-time Guinness World Record holder Farhan Ayub has urged Pakistan govt and COAS for support in his quest to break more GWRs and get the country’s name written in the book of GWR.

Farhan, a resident of Raiwind Lahore, seeking support from the government spent more than a month in a camp outside the provincial assembly in Lahore with a view to get a bill passed by the MPAs for a permanent budget for the players who establish world record.

Farhan, a student of media at University Of Central Punjab, was very disappointed over the non cooperative behavior of politicians and now he is seeking COAS support for creating more Guinness World Records for the country.

Following are the details of records created by Farhan:

1. The most Kip-Ups in one minute is 34 achieved by Farhan Ayub at Punjab Youth Festival 2014 on February 26, 2014 in Lahore. The previous record was 22 Kip-Ups in one minute by Brandon Issac from the UK.

2. The most no handed Kip-Ups in one minute is 25 achieved by Farhan Ayub at Zaman Park on March 15, 2017 in Lahore. The previous record set in Guinness World Records was of 20.

3. The most golf balls picked up with feet in one minute is 12 achieved by Farhan Ayub on September 6, 2017 in Lahore, which was done to pay tributes to Pakistan Army. The previous record was 11 balls picked up with feet in one minute was by Cherry from Japan.

4. The most golf balls picked up with feet in one minute (team of two) is 7 achieved by Farhan Ayub and Usman Ayub on September 6, 2017 in Lahore. Previous record in Guinness World Records was of 5 balls picked up with feet.
