Zakaullah assumes charge as new Pesco CEO
PESHAWAR: Dr Zakaullah Khan Gandapur has taken over the charge of the office of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco).
After assuming the charge of his office, he vowed to utilize his energies for the betterment of company and redressal of public grievances.
Dr Zakaullah Gandapur hails from Dera Ismail Khan. He received education at his native city and later Peshawar.
According to the Pesco press release, he joined Water and Power and Development Authority (Wapda) in 1982 and worked as SDO, XEN and SE in the authority at different stations of the country.
He was posted as Chief Executive Officer of Tesco four years ago. Keeping in view his career, academic achievements and professional zeal, he has been posted as Pesco chief and started discharging his official responsibilities.
The new CEO said photo meter reading strategy would be vigorously implemented to overcome the issues of over-billing and erroneous reading.
