CHARSADDA: The power consumers in Zorr Bazar area in Charsadda district on Tuesday complained of overbilling.
Talking to reporters at the Charsadda Press Club, they said Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) had launched the photo reading to minimize the chances of wrong billing.
“But despite that we are not feeling any relief as we continue to receive inflated bills because of wrong meter reading,” said one of the power consumers while conveying grievances to the mediapersons.
The residents said a number of people from Zorr Bazar area were facing the overbilling problem due to wrong meter reading.
They requested the Pesco officials to direct the meter readers take correct reading of meters and stop overbilling.
