‘Corrupt people can’t escape accountability’
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf central leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said the people confronting Supreme Court and NAB will not be able to escape accountability. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Sarwar said the people's aggravated corruption and piles of looted wealth would bring them before the accountability.
The PTI central leader said that the perpetrators of creating hindrances in the way of accountability were the real enemies of the nation. Since the beginning of their accountability, the powerful people have been threatening Supreme Court and NAB, he added.“ The nation will not allow the corrupt people to launch assaults on Supreme Court, he said, adding that Pakistan could move ahead by eliminating the monster of corruption. Muhammad Sarwar said the PTI would stand by democracy. He added the PTI wanted exemplary democratic system built upon the principles of equality, justice, pluralism and freedom.
