Body to compile child protection literature

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has constituted a body to compile a purposeful literature to keep children save from imminent dangers.

The committee was formed following the directives of the Punjab Chief Minister.A meeting of the committee was held under the auspices of the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board, Lahore. Child Protection and Welfare Bureau chairperson Saba Sadiq chaired the meeting.

Special Secretary Schools Education Rana Hasan Akhtar, Additional Secretary Schools Education Abdur Rehman Shah, PCTB Managing Director Abdul Qayyum and representatives of different organiasations attended the meeting.The meeting was meant to produce the literature helping parents and teachers in imparting better guidance to children.
