LAHORE: Razia Bano from Karachi triumphed over Balochistan’s Rabia to clinch the National Women’s Boxing Championship being held at Wapda Sports Complex.
The first National Women s Boxing Championship was won by Razia Bano. Balochistan-based boxer Rabia went head to head with Razia Bano. The close competition was well-appreciated by the crowd. People who came in as spectators boosted the confidence of women by cheering them throughout. At the end of the match, Razia Bano emerged as the winner. She was praised for her splendid run of wins in the tournament. The 36th National Men Boxing and 1st National Women Boxing Championship 2018 is being organized by Pakistan Boxing Federation in collaboration with Wapda Sports Board started Saturday at Wapda Sports Complex. Chief guest Lt-Gen (retd) Syed Arif Hasan and Lt Gen (R) Muzammil Hussain, Chairman Wapda declared open the championships.
