Enmity claims boy’s life

CHAKWAL: A boy was shot dead while his mother and grandfather received bullet injuries at village Kolian on Thursday.

A retired official of a sensitive agency, Khalid, barged into the house of Riaz and allegedly opened indiscriminate.

As a result, Haroon Sadiq, 14, was killed and his mother Fauzia, 40, and grandfather Imdad Hussain, 60, were injured. Police and the rescue team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital.

After autopsy, the police have registered a murder and an attempt to murder case against the accused. Police sources told that there was an old enmity between the two families.
