Efforts to resolve land dispute hailed
BARA: Member National Assembly (MNA) Nasir Khan Afridi and Senator Momin Khan Afridi from Khyber Agency have welcomed the efforts of the security forces and political administration for resolving the dispute between Khyber and Orakzai agencies.
Speaking at a Jirga presided by Malik Zahir Shah, MNA Nasir Khan Afridi said there was a dispute between Orakzai and Khyber tribes over the Aindrak Gowak land.
Senator Momin Khan Afridi said the tribal people had already suffered as their business, homes were destroyed and education and health sectors were affected in Khyber and Orakzai agencies in prolonged militancy.
“We want to develop the affected areas and provide other necessary needs to the tribespeople,” he said, and assured the Jirga that people of Aindrak Gowak area would be provided basic facilities as soon as possible.
Malik Zahir Shah Afridi, Shah Muhammad, Saidullah Jan, Haji Waris Khan, Taj Malook Afridi, Iqbal Khan and others were present on the occasion.
