ISLAMABAD: Jawad Ahmed (47 runs and 2-26) again showed his all-round prowess as West Zone ended Central Zone’s unbeaten run with a three-wicket victory in the Islamabad Inter-District Under-19 One-Day Championship match here at the Diamond Ground Thursday.
West Zone achieved the 193-run winning target for the loss of seven wickets with prolific Jawad hitting 47 runs. Earlier, Jawad took two wickets as Central Zone were bowled out for 192. For Central Zone, Hamad Siddique (77) and Haroon Waheed (52 not out) played well.
