Govt to hold health festival in Thar

The Sindh health department is organising the Sindh Health and Nutrition Festival in Mithi, the headquarters of drought-hit Tharparkar, from April 2 to 4.
The event is being held under special directives from the chief minister. Its aim is to promote mobilise communities and stakeholders for working for the betterment of the poor people of the area. Stalls for raising awareness regarding health and nutrition, besides local handicrafts, will be set up by a number of organisations, including donor agencies and private sector.
