LAHORE: The opposition parties spent around Rs10 million on the arrangements of public meeting on The Mall Road Wednesday.It has been learnt that huge money was also spent for the transportation of workers. According to the PAT officials, all parties had pooled the amount for arrangements. At least 25,000 chairs were placed at the venue with a cost of Rs2 million. The parties also spent Rs5 million on meals for the participants.Meanwhile, the Punjab government had to spend Rs3 million for the foolproof security arrangements of PAT’s public meeting. The government provided meals and fuel for the transportation of cops.
