KARACHI: Findings from The Nielsen Global Survey of Consumer Confidence and Spending Intentions results indicate that Pakistan’s consumer confidence has reached an all-time high by increasing nine points in the third quarter of 2017, from an index of 102 in the previous quarter to 111, a statement said on Monday. The survey data highlights a positive perception of job outlooks, increasing from 47 percent in the second quarter to 57 percent in the third quarter. Respondents who are more optimistic about the state of their personal finances has gone up two percentage points from the second quarter to 66 percent, resultantly immediate spending intentions have reached 49 percent as compared to 46 percent in Q2 2017.
