Students observe silence for Zainab
Rawalpindi : The students of Am Anglo School & College observed a minute silence and prayed for the eternal peace of Zainab here on Saturday.
All eyes were filled with tears over the brutal incident that happened to little girl Zainab in Kasur. The parents and students lit candles to show their gloom against brutal incident and demanded government to arrest culprits immediately.
Rawalpindi Association of Private Schools (RAPS) President Captain (r) Ameer-ud-din Shaikh demanded arrest of the culprit.
In his address during an annual ceremony of the school here on Saturday, he said that parents should take responsibility of their children by own to avoid such kind of incidents in society. Parents should pick and drop their children by own at any cost, he advised.
Am Anglo School & College Chairperson Mahpara, Principal Arifa Nasir, Director Nasir Ali Shaikh and parents strongly condemned incident said that it is our responsibility to protect our children.
The students presented stage dramas, speeches, national songs, dance and
skids in annual function on the occasion.
