Diabetes is a growing challenge in many South Asian countries. According to the National Diabetes Survey of Pakistan, 26 percent of the population is dealing with the disease. The report further concluded that Sindh was severely affected with this non-communicable disease.
The urban population is more prone to the disease because of bad dietary practices, stressful and sedentary lifestyle. We should adopt a lifestyle that is free from stress and full of physical exercise. Only a healthy lifestyle can control the disease.
