ISLAMABAD: Hammad Saddique smashed 114 as Central Zone beat North Zone by four wickets in the Islamabad Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament match here at the Diamond Club Ground Friday.
North Zone while batting first hit up 224 before being all out. Central chased down the target in 43 overs losing six wickets in the process. Hammad struck 16 boundaries in his 98-ball knock.
Earlier, Ahsan Asghar (3-35) and Sardar Khan (2-23) bowled well to restrict Central Zone with Asad Ali Abbasi (37) and Hasan Abid Kiyani (34) being the only notable run-getters.
