Seasonal influenza in Lahore

LAHORE: Two patients have been tested positive for seasonal influenza in Lahore on Friday, while reports of another two patients were still pending. Reportedly, as many as 17 patients have been suspected of H1N1 (seasonal influenza) in different hospitals. In public hospitals, two cases each suspected of H1N1 found in Jinnah Hospital and Ganga Ram Hospital and one each was found in Services Hospital and Shaikh Zayed Hospital. In private hospitals, six patients in a hospital at Canal Road near Johar Town, two in hospital at Ferozpur Road near Gaddafi Stadium and one each in CMH, a hospital in Shadman and a hospital in Allama Iqbal Town have been suspected of H1N1.
