Newly-elected PPA body sworn in

LAHORE: Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr Musadik Malik Friday administered oath to the newly-elected office-bearers of the Pakistan Pharmacists Association, Federal and Punjab chapters. The office bearers of both the chapters are elected after every three years.

According to a press release, Dr Musadik who is also a pharmacist, said he belonged to the community and would do everything for its betterment. He wished the newly elected bodies well and said the government was introducing more jobs for pharmacists all over the country. They had a role to play in different stages of the health system.

The newly-elected president and other office bearers said they would continue to struggle for improving the standards of their colleagues’ lives, and ensuring dignity in the health system. The newly-elected office-bearers include; President Rehmat-ullah Khan, Secretary General Rao Alamgir, Finance Secretary Kalim-ullah and Joint Secretary Dr Faraz Ashraf for Federal chapter.

While the Punjab chapter office bearers include; President Dr Mehmood Ahmad, General Secretary Umair Ahmad Dar, Joint Secretary Dr Abdul-Jabbar and Finance Secretary Muhammad Abdullah. Pharmacists from all over the country attended the ceremony.
