Rulers’ wrong decisions disrupted unity of nation: JUP
From Our Correspondent
CHAKWAL: JUP Noorani group chief Dr Abu Alkhair Mohammad Zubair Saturday said the whole nation was united in the wake of the Peshawar incident, but some wrong decisions of the rulers have disrupted the unity of the nation.
Talking to reporters in village Rata Shareef after offering Fateh for the mother of Pir Nasir Jameel Hashmi and Basit Shakeel Hashmi, the JUP chief said to eliminate terrorism from the country and the whole nation was behind political and military leadership of the country but the government and bureaucracy backed out from the commitment.
He was of the view that Maulana Fazal ul Rehman has become a spokesman of religious powers. He urged Fazl to resign from the government position.
To another question, he said the federal and provincial governments were reluctant to hold local bodies election despite the Supreme Court ruling and now it appears the LB polls would be held in 2015. He criticized crackdown on peaceful religious institutions.
