MoU signed on investment opportunities

LAHORE: Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) and Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for synergising their efforts by working together and advancing their common objectives, sharing quantitative and qualitative data and developing a common vision for the assessment and growth of investment opportunities.

Punjab Board of Investment and Trade CEO, Jahanzeb Burana and PCJCCI President, SM Naveed signed the agreement at Punjab Board of Investment and Trade office. The aims of signing this MoU are to set out the basis for cooperation between the two organisations for the economic integration of two brotherly nations—China and Pakistan through increased regional connectivity for mutual benefit.

Addressing the ceremony, SM Naveed expressed the hope that both Pakistanis and Chinese will equally be benefited by the initiatives taken by PCJCCI and PBIT joint venture. PCJCCI is a trade organisation, established with the objective of promoting and encouraging bilateral investment by aiding, facilitating and assisting investors in their exchange with state, regulatory and government authorities, bodies and departments, pursuant to their investments.
