Soldier martyred, two injured in NWA IED blast

MIRANSHAH: A soldier was martyred and two others sustained injuries in an explosion caused by an IED on the Miranshah-Razmak Road in North Waziristan Agency, official sources said on Thursday. The sources said miscreants had planted an IED on the roadside in Sarobi area. The explosives went off when the vehicle of security forces was passing through the area. A soldier identified as Sepoy Amanullah was martyred while two of his colleagues, Havaldar Fazal Abbas and Sepoy Nafees, suffered injuries in the incident. The body of the soldier and the injured were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Bannu.
