POS terminal at NBF Bookshop inaugurated

National Book Foundation in its endeavour to facilitate the book lovers community, installed a POS (point of sale) terminal at its Bookshop in NBF Headquarters here, says a press release.
POS installed at NBF bookshop will provide payment facilities to the customers using debit or credit cards issued by any local or International Bank. It will be a great facility especially for the foreign visitors who can now use their international debit/credit cards at NBF bookshop for books purchasing.
POS terminal is provided and installed by Habib Bank Limited (HBL). It was inaugurated by the NBF Managing Director Dr. Inam ul Haq Javeid. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Aftab Soomro, NBF secretary, Nazar Abbas, RH Payment Services HBL, Fahad Bin Ahmed, RH POS HBL, Syed Aftab Hussain Shah, BM HBL, G-9/4 Branch and Shakeel Irshad Khan, SRBO HBL.
The NBF MD hailed the co-operation by Habib Bank and said that installation of POS terminal is a step forward in NBF’s book promotion mission and termed it a significant facility for the customers. The HBL staff highlighted the importance of electronic payment systems being introduced in Pakistan and informed that HBL has a leading edge specially being the largest ATM network and provider of the largest POS terminal network in the country.
