The reconstruction of Malam Jabba Road started two years ago. But the work stopped abruptly due to a disagreement between the provincial and federal governments. The 35-kilometre road from Mingora to Malam Jabba holds immense importance since it connects the city of Mingora to Malam Jabba, which is the most-visited ski resort of the country.
The dilapidated condition of the road has affected tourism and only a few tourists are able to visit the place. The chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must take immediate action and release sufficient funds to restart the construction work so as to ensure that both local and foreign tourists can visit Malam Jabba and have a good time at the beautiful ski resort.
