CM forms body on Criminal Justice Education Institute

Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting Friday in which a briefing was given on the project of setting up of Criminal Justice Education and Research Development Institute besides proposals were also presented regarding the proposed project.
Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said the project of Criminal Justice Education and Research Development Institute was of vital importance in the current situation and there was a dire need to provide justice to the citizens. He said the government was ready to provide necessary funds for the implementation of the project.
Issuing instructions for setting up a committee to consider the proposed project, Shahbaz Sharif directed that the committee should furnish its final recommendations. He said use of modern technology was playing a significant role in the provision of justice. He said the most modern state-of-the-art forensic science lab of Asia had been set up in Punjab while it had been decided to establish satellite stations of the forensic lab in nine divisions of the province.
Change of system: Shahbaz Sharif has said that the worst conspiracy in the history of Pakistan was hatched under the garb of sit-ins and the drama of containers continued in Islamabad for four and half months.
However, he said with the grace of Allah and the prayers of the nation, the attempt to topple the democratically elected government badly failed.
Addressing a meeting of provincial parliamentary party of PML-N at Chief Minister’s Office, here Friday, the chief minister said foundation stone of metro bus project in Multan would soon be laid while inaugural ceremony of Rawalpindi-Islamabad metro bus would be held next month. He said it was the need of the hour to change the existing obsolete system.
He said that no effort would be spared for the completion of energy projects. He said he was sure that if elected representatives dedicated themselves to public service, darkness would be removed from the country and the future generations would feel proud of them.
Referring to the Peshawar tragedy, he said that 150 innocent children and teachers were subjected to the worst brutality in a Peshawar school on December 16, 2014 and the nation was still grieved at this unprecedented incident of savagery in the recent history. However, he said, due to the sacrifice of innocent children, the nation had become united in the war on terror. He said billions of rupees were being utilised in Punjab for the eradication of terrorism, extremism and sectarianism and modern technology was also being used for this purpose.
Member Provincial Assembly Inamullah Khan Niazi announced joining PML-N on this occasion. Shahbaz Sharif welcomed Inamullah Niazi in the party.
