AKF opens welfare hospital
Islamabad The Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) under its health programme on Friday opened a welfare hospital in Talagang with cooperation of ICNA Relief of Canada.
Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat, Secretary General of Al-Khidmat Foundation, Tahir Alvi, president ICNA Relief Canada, Executive Director Dr. Shaukat Hussain and Dr. Hafeezur Rehman opened the mega health facility for the resident of Talagang in presence of over 600 people belonging to different walks of life.
The 40-bed hospital would have both indoor and outdoor facilities, vaccination service, emergency ward and ambulance service. The hospital will also offer special treatment facilities for women and children. Following announcement by the organisers, the people from the audience announced donations worth Rs7.8 million for the welfare project.
