An exhibition comprising artworks by various acclaimed artists started at the Comsats Art Gallery (CAG) here on Thursday.
The exhibition titled ‘Between the Lines’ was inaugurated by Ambassador of Cuba to Pakistan Jesus Zenen Buergo Concepcion.
The displayed artworks presented the true reflection of those artists, who were practicing art besides being connected with academia and teaching art to the younger generation.
According to the curator of the gallery, Farrah Mahmood Adnan, the show is a means of communication not only with students, who will be observing and adapting their own work based on the work their teachers do, but from the work of other artists who are taking part in the exhibition. Highlighting the event, she said that the exhibition can bring a whole new evolution intellectually in addition to healthy promotion of art. CAG is giving a platform to link up ideas, philosophies and sharing the work to foster productive artistic members of society, she remarked.
“Together with the collection of different visual art forms, with the input of extraordinary minds, these artists are putting together masterpieces that will be exquisite for all who will and can experience it”, she eulogised. The exhibition will continue till March 20.
