LAHORE Development Authority has allotted alternate plots to 321 affected allottees of plots in LDA Avenue-I through the first phase of a computerised balloting here Tuesday.
Officials said list of these plots had been uploaded on LDA’s website www.lda.gop.pk. The allotted plots are fully developed and all the formalities for handing over the physical possession to respective owners are being finalised in just one day under one roof. Owners of these plots could take over their possession in one day for starting construction of their houses immediately.
They said LDA had already started handing over possession of more than 9,000 plots, carved out on the 69 percent clear area of LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme to their owners and intimation letters had been dispatched to their proprietor for this purpose.
All the development works, including electrification, construction of roads, provision of water supply and sewerage systems and other allied services have been completed in the clear area.
On the directives of LDA Director General, a special section has been set up at the One Window Cell of LDA at its office at Johar Town where all the proceedings for handing over possession are being completed under one roof within one day only.
Officials maintained that for physical demarcation of plots on land, a site office had also been established in the scheme where essential staff had also been deputed besides provision of necessary facilities and making ample sitting arrangement.
Lahore Development Authority has uploaded lists of clear plots on its website www.lda.gop.pk. Allottees/owners of plots have been advised to verify their plot numbers from LDA’s website after receiving notices in this regard sent through post by LDA.
Allottees/owners have been asked to personally come at 1st floor of LDA’s One Window Cell at 467-D-II, Main Boulevard, MA Johar Town, Lahore, where all the procedural formalities for this purpose are being completed. Then they are invited to the site office situated in the scheme at Raiwind Road, Lahore, for awarding physical possession of plots to them.
Meanwhile, LDA Director General Ahad Khan Cheema has transferred Muhammad Asad Ameer, Director Land Development-IV and posted him as Director Land Development-I, LDA. On joining LDA, Muhammad Mohsin Bilal (ex-PCS/BS-17) has been posted as Director Land Development-IV.
Transfers: The Punjab government has issued a notification of transfer and posting of officers on Tuesday.
According to the notification DCO Chakwal Asif Bilal Lodhi has been transferred and posted as Director Food Punjab vice Flt. Lt. (Retd) Iftekhar Ali Sahu who has been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to participate in the training course, while Additional Collector Chakwal has been given additional charge of the office of DCO Chakwal till further orders.
Section Officer (SO) Higher Education Maqbool Ahmed Ejaz has been transferred and posted as SO Human Rights and Minority Affairs, Assistant Commissioner Gujra Tanvir Murtaza as Assistant Commissioner Sumandri, and Assistant Commissioner Shakarghar Umar Khan as Assistant Commissoner Gujra, while cancelled the transfer order of Assistant Commissioner Pind Dadan Khan Mohammed Ashraf. Assistant Settlement Officer Gujrat Waqar Hussain has been transferred and services have been placed at the disposal of Commissioner Gujranwala for further posting.
