Hale complains of not making US part of CPEC
RAWALPINDI: American Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale complained that the United States was not made part of the projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to Geo News, US Ambassador David Hale paid an unusual visit to the office of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and met FPCCI leaders.
According to the sources, while talking to the leaders of FPCCI, the American envoy complained that his country was not asked to take part in the CPEC. He said that China was given special preference and it was good to ask US to take part in the CPEC.
David Hale said that according to various European diplomats, they were not contacted for participating in the CPEC.
On the occasion, the leaders of the FPCCI told American Ambassador that the US remained far for making heavy investment at the time of need of Pakistan.
