LHC lifts ban on construction in Murree

MURREE: Justice M Farrukh Irfan Khan and Justice Shahid Mobeen of Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi bench dismissed the nine years ban on all types of construction in Murree city.
The Bench declared that the ban on construction by Punjab government was a violation of basic human rights and nullified the notification of secretary local government Punjab.
According to details, about a year ago Justice Abad Ur Rehman Lodhi of LHC Rawalpindi bench ordered to lift ban on construction but Punjab Government submitted an appeal,the two-member bench dismissed the appeal by declaring the appeal not maintainable.
