PTI supports Qadri over Shahbaz, Sana resignations
LAHORE: PTI spokesperson said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah had no option but to resign by the end of December.
While addressing a press conference Tuesday, he said the PTI would fully support any move by the PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri if his demands were not met. Criticising the PML-N, he said like an innocent child it was busy badmouthing Pakistan Army without realising that Nawaz Sharif was fostered by it.
To another question regarding criticism by the PML-N chief on decision by court, Fawad said the opinion of the former premier could be sought regarding dishes like ‘Nehari’ but not over court’s verdicts.
He said the PML-N had been divided into two groups including Nawaz Group and Shahbaz Group and former was following in the footsteps of MQM London. Fawad added that Shahbaz and Ch Nisar were not on the same page regarding the way Nawaz was criticising judiciary.
He further said the PTI couldn’t endorse corruption of the PPP whose leaders statements were nothing less than jokes. To another question, he said the PTI would file a review petition regarding disqualification of Jehangir Tareen. He also said the party had reservations over the Election Commission. He said the party would extend complete support to delimitation bill passed by the Senate.
