KARACHI: As many as 28 foreign players are participating in Pakistan F3 Futures, scheduled from December 18-24, in Islamabad.
According to the acceptance list, Samir Iftikhar is the only Pakistani in the main draw due to his improved performance in the recent two Futures in Islamabad. The foreign players in the main draw are Ivan Nedelko, Kristian Lozan, Shalva Dzhanashiya, and Ivan Ponomarenko from Russia;
Paramveer Singh, Jayesh Pungliya, Kunal Anand and Anurag Nenwani from India; Enrique Lopez-Perez and Pere Riba from Spain; Alexander Lebedyn and Vadim Alekseenko from Ukraine; Julian Onken from Germany; Peter Goldsteiner from Austria; Kelsey Stevenson from Canada; Luka Pavlovic from France; Ergi Kirkin from Turkey.
There are 15 Pakistani players in the qualifying draw. The foreigners in the qualifying round are Nikolay Vylegzhanin and Dmitry Myagkov, and Oleg Besednikov from Russia; Jatin Dahiya, Ajay Pruthvi, and Kshitij Kamal from India; Tegbir Singh from Canada; Venci Ivanov from Bulgaria; Roy Hobbs from Singapore; Ramin Popal from Austria; and Pooyan Shateri from Iran.
