Coaches’ technical course from 19th
LAHORE: The Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF) has been allocated technical course for coaches by the Pakistan Olympic Association under the World Programme of IOC.
The course will be held at Punjab College Sports Gymnasium Hall from December 19 to 23.
The main purpose of such courses is to develop a hierarchy of coaches to train athletes on the modern scientific lines and achieve best level of performance, informed Andleeb Sandhu, General Secretary PKF.
The course is being run under instructions of the World Karate Federation Coach Antinio Oliva currently the Best Karate coach in the world. More than 35 Male and Female International and National Coaches from all over the country will participate. Saadi Abbas (Asian & Commonwealth Gold Medalist) also participating in this course. The program will run in two categories theory and practical starting from December 19.
The opening ceremony will be performed by Lt Gen (retd) Syed Arif Hasan, President POA on December 20 at 1500 hours. The closing ceremony will be presided over by Director General, Directorate of Sports Board Punjab Aamir Jan on December 24 at 1600 hours.
