State of disrepair

Several weeks have passed since the Faizabad sit-in ended. However, repair work at the Faizabad metro bus station – which was damaged during the operation to remove demonstrators – has yet to be initiated.

The failure to conduct repair work and reconstruct the station has caused serious problems for commuters. Many of them have to walk long distances to reach the nearest station. Therefore, the relevant authorities are strongly requested to take all the necessary steps to carry out repair work at the bus station to facilitate routine travellers.
