Our statements creating atmosphere of conflict: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Saturday the statements being issued by the PML-N leaders are creating atmosphere of confrontation among institutions.

In a statement issued here, he said although it has been repeated frequently that we are not following policy of confrontation with the institutions but the statements being issued by the leaders are putting institutions on a collision course. “This situation is not in the national interest,” he maintained.

Nisar Ali Khan said that the PML-N will have to come out of this atmosphere of uncertainty and pull away the country from the same. He said the country has reached a critical state and “we need to keep the nation positive and optimistic.” He said if someone is not satisfied with the verdict of the court, he could get justice from another. “Has it not been proved in Hudaibya case decision,” he posed a question.
