KARACHI: Geo TV reporter Kamran Razi sustained injures on resisting a robbery bid at his house in DHA Phase-I on Monday night. Defence police SHO Liaquat Hayat said three to four armed robbers entered Razi’s house for robbery.
He added Razi who was present in the house tried to block the mugging attempt of suspects, but they opened fire on Razi and escaped without taking anything from his house. SHO Hayat said Razi got a wound in his upper torso and was taken to hospital where doctors declared him out of danger.
He added the police registered an FIR no. 293/17 on the complaint of Razi against unidentified suspects.
