Anti-US protest staged in Timergara

TIMERGARA: The trader community in Timergara on Monday staged a protest against the United States President Donald Trump for recognising Jerusalem as capital of Israel.
Led by Timergara traders association president Haji Anwaruddin, the protestors marched on various roads in Timergara and chanted anti-US and anti-Israel slogans. The protestors were carrying banners and placards. All markets in Timergara bazaar remained closed while people from different walks of life participated in the protest. Addressing the protestors, Timergara traders association president Haji Anwaruddincalled upon the Muslim countries to take measures for freeing Jerusalem.
