Woman ends her life over marriage differences
A 22-year-old woman reportedly committed suicide in her house in Malir Cantt after she developed differences with her husband, the police reported on Monday. Malir Cantt police station SHO Rao Dilshad said Saima, wife of Shahnawaz, shot herself in house number A-30, in Sadaat-e-Amroha Society. The SHO claimed that Saima had had a heated argument with her husband in the morning and she shot herself in the afternoon in his absence. Her body was shifted to the JPMC for post-mortem examination, and later handed over to the family after completion of medico-legal formalities.
Girl electrocuted
Thirteen-year-old Shezal, daughter of Saleem, died of electrocution in Korangi, rescue sources reported. Being taken to the JPMC in an unconscious state, the girl died on the way to the hospital.
Accident
Three men were injured in a road accident reported in Baldia Town. According to rescue sources 26-year-old Aman, 27-year-old Razzaq and 65-year-old Basheer were hit by a speeding vehicle. They were taken to the JPMC for treatment.
