Sino-Pak ties getting stronger, says Hamza

LAHORE: PML-N central leader and MNA Hamza Shahbaz has said that strong ties between Pakistan and China are getting stronger day by day and after China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) the project of Orange Line Train is another great success which would leave far-reaching affects on the economic growth in the country.

He said this while talking to a delegation from China headed by International Department of the Central Committee of Communist Party of China Assistant Minister Wang Yajun at the party secretariat at Model Town.

Provincial Ministers Malik Nadeem Kamran, Zakia Shahnawaz and Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Lahore Lord Mayor Mubashar Javed, Khawaja Ahmed Hassan and Imran Ali Goraya were also present. The seven-member delegation from China included IDCPC Bureau I Deputy Director General Zhang Xuyi, Director Policy and Research Li Bin, Hu Xiaodong, Tan Wei, Fu Weiran and Long Dingbin.

Referring to his tour of China in 2014, Hamza Shahbaz said that strong political set-up had given a big edge to undertake sustainable development in China. He said rapid development had been made in the different sectors in Pakistan like education, health, energy and tourism. "We are grateful to Chine for the close cooperation in different projects," he added. Wang Yajun said that China gave great importance to Pakistan for bilateral cooperation. With the passage of time, the ties would further strengthen, he added. He said that strong political parties played an important role in the development of a country.

He appreciated the role of Hamza in national politics and invited him to visit China. He also stressed upon party-to-party relations between both countries to strengthen more relations on both sides. Chinese delegation expressed their pleasure on Lahore tour while Hamza Shahbas presented a painting of Lahore Fort to Wang Yajun.
