Judge’s remarks against army hurt nation’s sentiments: Dasti
MULTAN: Awami Raj Party chairman MNA Jamshed Dasti has expressed concern over a judge’s remarks against Pakistan Army and said it has hurt sentiments of the nation.
Addressing a press conference at the press club here on Tuesday, he said that the armed forces were the saviours and protectors of Pakistan. He said that the Islamabad Dharna concluded just because of sincere efforts by COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. He alleged that the PML-N government was hatching conspiracies to break the country. He said that the Supreme Court should fulfil its constitutional obligation and sack the government.
MNA Jamshed Dasti said that the 1973 Constitution had been outdated and it needed immediate amendments. He said that Zahid Hamid was just a draftsman of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
Dasti said that the US, Israel and India were conspiring against Pakistan from Afghanistan. He said: “The present rulers are playing in the hands of the US, India and Israel.” He alleged that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari were the agents of Jews.
