LAHORE: An additional district and sessions court on Tuesday handed over a minor to his mother after getting him recovered from illegal custody of his father. Adila Iqbal of Kareem Park filed a habeas corpus petition in the court alleging that her husband, Mansoor Ahmad, had detained her six-year old son, Arslan, illegally. She said due to domestic issues, she was not living with her husband, but a few days back her husband visited her place and snatched her son. She implored the court for the recovery of her son. On her plea, the court appointed SHO concerned as bailiff. The bailiff raided the house of Mansoor and found the minor there. The SHO produced the minor before the court from where he was handed over to his mother.
