Cheques distributed among bereaved families of Albarak victims

Rawalpindi: DC Rawalpindi Tallat Mehmood Gondal said that even though there is no substitute of precious human life however these cheques are just a gesture to show solidarity with the bereaved families and make them assure that they will not be left unattended as Government Punjab is always there for their support. He said that financial aid of Rs500,000 is being provided by Punjab Government to the families of late Ashir Asif, Karamat Masseh, Saqib Hussain, Muhammad Irshad and Asif Mehmood whereas the injured Sagheer Maseeh is being given best medical treatment for his survival.
He expressed these views during handing over of financial aid to the families of sanitary workers of Al-Barak who were victims of target killing at deputy Commissioner office. Mayor Rawalpindi Sardar Nasim, MPA Raja Hanif Advocate, Zai Ullah Shah, ADC Finance & Planning Rao Atif Raza, CO Municipal Corporation Khalid Javed Goraya, Operational Manager Albarak Murat and other concerns were also present at this moment.
Talking at this moment, Sardar Nasim Mayor Rawalpindi said that CM Punjab has taken strict notice of the incident of target killing of innocent sanitary workers and had directed to investigate the matter as soon as possible. He said that all out steps will be taken to hold those involved in this heinous act accountable. Raja Hanif MPA further added that financial aid of Rs500,000 is being provided to the families of victims also Albarak Company has promised to give the families another 05 lac each.
