Muslim Trading off to a winning start

KARACHI: Chaman’s Muslim Trading were off to a fine start when they defeated Sindh Government Press 2-0 in their Group D opener of the First Naya Nazimabad Departmental Football tournament here at the KMC Stadium on Friday.
After a goalless first half, Tahir put Muslim Trading 1-0 ahead with a fine goal in the 57th minute. Muslim Trading put pressure on the oppositions and doubled their lead through Hikmat who landed it just before the final whistle.
In their first game, SGP had beaten National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) 1-0. On Saturday (today), SNGPL face Pak PWD, while SSGC meet Pakistan Steel. In the event, 14 outfits from across the country are showing their worth.
