Salman, Qadir, Haseeb move ahead in Qatar Circuit No-4

KARACHI: Three Pakistani players advanced to the final qualifying round of the $15,000 Qatar Circuit No-4 at Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, Doha, on Thursday.
In the first qualifying round, Salman Saleem beat Ibrahim Ahmed Al Darwish of Qatar 11-4, 11-4, 11-4 in 18 minutes; Abdul Qadir smashed Mohammad Salim Saadi Al Yaafei of Qatar 11-5, 11-3, 11-2 in just 15 minutes; while Haseeb Taj thrashed Ali Saeed Al Dosari of Qatar 11-6, 11-4, 11-9 in 13 minutes.
In the final qualifying round, Haseeb is to face Rashid Al Harib of Qatar, Abdul Qadir will play against Abdullah Al Muzayen of Kuwait, and Salman is up against Varun Johnny of India. It is to be noted that Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz and Khwaja Adil Maqbool are already in the main round of this event.
