Children fair

Lahore :Department of Social Welfare Bait-ul-Maal Punjab and Child Rights Movement organised a “Children Fair” at Social Welfare Complex on Thursday.
Politicians, social activists, members of civil society and a large number orphans and special children reside in social welfare institutions participated in the event. Punjab Chief Minster’s Adviser Nawab Tahir-ul-Malik was the chief guest of the event. He said children are our asset.
Better education, balanced diet and secure environment are basic rights of every child. The Punjab government is taking measure to provide free education to needy children. Social Welfare Secretary Haroon Rafique said it was our responsibility to provide healthy and secure environment to the children. Colorful stalls and various performances were included in the event.
