Rescue 1122 team leaves for Turkey on training

Rawalpindi :As a result of the special efforts of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to improve the Healthcare System in Punjab, a fourth group of 20 Emergency Officers & Instructors left for training in Izmir, Turkey, in the wee hours on Sunday.
The Director General, Emergency Services Punjab Dr. Rizwan Naseer gave a final briefing prior to their departure. He asked them to seek maximum training of emergency & disaster management, emergency healthcare system, training, monitoring and other related mechanisms. He thanked the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for continuous support and interest in improving the healthcare system in Punjab.
The members of the delegation included Muhammad Aslam, DEO Rajanpur, Dr. Muhammad Irshad-ul-Haq, DEO Muzaffargarh, Dr. Ijaz Anjum, DEO Khanewal, Dr. Faisal Mehmood, DEO Jhelum, Dr. Ateeq Ahmad Khan, DEO Chakwal, Ali Hussain, EO Rawalpindi, Shahid Waheed, DEO Lahore, Naveed Iqbal, DEO Bakkhar, Dr. Kaleem Ullah, DEO Multan, Imran Khan, DEO MB Din, Muhammad Amir, EO, Aamir Abbas Khan, EO, Farhan Mirza, Assistant Director Rescue, Syed Muddeasir Husain, Admin Officer, Yasir Riaz Gilani, EO and Instructors including Zahid Khan, Ahmad Naeem Sajid, Muhamad Kareem Ashiq and Umar Hayyat.
After seeking training, these officers & instructors will help improving fleet management of the Motorbike Ambulance Service and also train the rest of the rescuers when they arrive in Pakistan. While addressing to the delegation, Dr. Rizwan Naseer said that Rescue 1122 has been contributing towards healthcare system by providing emergency care to the helpless victims of emergencies in Punjab since its inception in 2004. He said that in recent past, due to sincere efforts Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Turkish President Tayyib Erodgon agreed to extend his all-out support to improve Healthcare System in Pakistan. Consequently, different departments of our brother country – Turkey – are providing their technical support and training to the departments of Punjab especially Healthcare System is being improved on war-footing basis, he added.
