Islamabad :The Shifa Foundation on Monday celebrated world Children’s Day with the Children of the BASERA Trust.

Besides taking part in a TV show, the children also enjoyed a magic show. “We are mobilising volunteers to build a child centered program to expand our reach to out of school children especially in slums and rural areas and to increase awareness of basic health issues," Faraz Hassan, executive director at the Shifa Foundation, said.
Members of the Board of Governors of the Shifa Foundation Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman and Taimoor Shah also participated in the program.
"We not only cater to the nutritional needs but also provide health care and medicine to the affected children and women in undeserved population. Our aim is to give equal treatment to those who cannot afford it," Taimoor Shah said.
