DPO vehicle kills woman, injures another

BAHAWALPUR: A woman was killed and another injured when the official vehicle of the DPO hit a motorbike on late Sunday night near Khairpur Tamewali. DPO Mustansar Feroz was returning to Bahawalpur after inspecting the Hasilpur police station when his vehicle hit a motorcycle. As a result, Shammoo was killed on the spot while the motorcyclist sustained injuries. Later, the heirs forgave the driver. It is learnt that compensation amount had been given to the victim’s heirs, however, it is yet not confirmed by the relatives of the victim and also by the police.
