The man fell off the bike and was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment, SHO Ahmed said, adding that the suspect died of excessive bleeding before reaching the hospital.
The deceased was identified as Hassan Shah alias Munna, and he was wanted by the Surjani Town police in murder cases of a woman and two men during robberies, he said.
Sharing further details, SHO Ahmed said the suspect along with his wife, Yasmeen, who was earlier arrested by the Orangi Town police on October 24, had killed Muhammad Shahid for resisting a mugging attempt. They were nominated in FIR no 302/17 registered under section 302, 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on complaint of the victim’s heirs.
