Talk of referendum will hurt Nawaz: Khursheed
November 21, 2017
SUKKUR: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Monday said deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s statement that the Abbottabad public meeting was a referendum on his case was an unconstitutional course of action that would be disastrous for him. Talking to reporters here, he asked Nawaz to follow the constitutional way, which was to respect the apex court decisions. He said it was the Nawaz-led government that had allowed former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf to leave the country.
