MANSEHRA: The Nazmeen Ittehad has planned to take out a protest rally during the visit of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on November 26.
“We will take out a protest rally during the visit of Imran Khan as his party-led provincial government has been hatching conspiracies against local government system in the province.
The provincial government didn’t release a single penny to us during current fiscal,” Basharat Ali Swati, the general secretary of Nazmeen Ittehad, told reporters here on Saturday.
He said that the Nazimeen Ittehad held a meeting earlier in the day and decided to invite councillors of district and tehsil to join the protest.
Swati said that all 194 village and neighbourhood councils of the district were without budgetary allocations for the current and previous financial years.
Gas loadshedding: The district administration has issued 6-hourly loadshedding schedule for compressed natural gas stations.
Deputy Commissioner, Mansehra, Ayaz Khan in consultation with Sui Northern Gas Supply Company notified six hour loadshedding schedule with immediate effect.
According to a notification, compressed natural gas stations couldn’t supply gas to vehicles in peak hours from 6am to 9am and 5pm to 8pm daily.
